Book Review for Edge of Never by: J.A. Redmerski

In the background Joy and John are singing about fear and guilt, my eyes are still wet from few tears I couldn’t stop from falling…What a pleasure it is to experience a different life, travel to distant places, feel the love and pain through the pages of a beautifully written story.

It starts quite simply…Camryn wakes up one day not wanting to live according to people’s expectations. Without a plan she packs her bag, gets on a bus and along the way finds everything she could hope for, and more…

Cam and Andrew took me on a journey I’d love to take in real life. They made me believe in faith, freedom and love from a different perspective. They are the perfect blend of characters, pulled together with a great intensity that started slow and kept building up through out the book. They are the definition of living your life in the moment and to the fullest. They are the missing pieces of each other souls.

There is a lot more I could say or describe but words somehow fail me. I’m still on a high from the mixture of emotions Redmerski put me through. If you never met anyone that taught you to give in to your darkest desires, speak your mind, dream out loud and always be yourself, than the Edge of Never is the next best thing. It’s one of those stunning books that leave a lasting impression. Damn, how am I to go back to reality after reading it…

“The heart always wins out over the mind., the heart, although reckless and suicidal and masochist all on its own, always gets it way. The mind may be what’s best, but I don’t give a shit what my mind is telling me anymore. Right now, I want to live in the moment.”
